| Short summary from guild meeting, Sun, 5th. Jan 2014Thanks for those who participated in this first guild meeting of 2014. 1) Clean-Up of Inactive MembersSince end of Now 2013 we have been running a "check-rank" in guild to see who is active or not. We currently have 18 members who haven't been logged in for the past (at least) 7 weeks. We will over the next days kick them from guild and send them a mail with the following text: Hello "Name" We have been running a cleanup in guild and it seems you are one of the inactive members. If this is a mistake please contact any officers ingame or write on our forum so we can invite you back. Best RegardsActions: Guildleaders will the following days kick check-rank members and send them a mail.2) Gunnars HoldReminder for everyone to signup on the GH community forum, plus join pK on the forum so you get access to WvW-sections and other hidden places for guests. Link to the community forumJoin pK here on the GH forumAfter signing up for pK and you have been accepted, you can in the bottom of this page pick a guild you want to belong to and get the tag [pK]. Actions: All please sign up on GH forum and then join pK on the forum to get access to everything. 3) InfluenceWe only miss around 250.000 influence to finish all our builds and 490 merit. People have been very helpful with donating influence by visiting the guild-promoter in LA and buy drink for the city. Thank you all very much. 4) Age in pKWe have lately had applications from players in the age of 12 years old, and we are not black and white, but it was decided on the meeting that we keep our 18+ rule (with exceptions of course). 5) After the transfer to Gunnars HoldEveryone seems very happy about the move, not only for WvW, but also for all the different World events going on from mining-runs to World-tours and that we finally are a place with a English communication. However, the past few weeks, more guilds have been transferring to GH, and my worry is that it will become a higher ranked server and the cost for transfer will double. We need to get the last stuck on Blacktide to Gunnars Hold. 6) TeamSpeakWe rarely use our own TS in pK, and we still have the 50-slot which we pay 25 euros for a month. Many are using GH TS these days, and we also have a pK room on that TS, but we still want to have our own, in case any of the TS is down we have a buffer. Lana offered to host a free TS for 32-people on his server, thank you for that Lana. Our own TS will run out in end of Feb 2014, and by that time Lana will have the new private pK-TS running. Gunnars Hold TS info: Teamspeak 3 (like ours) Adress: ts3.gunnars-hold.eu Password: wim4de5a Remember to type [pK] after your name so people know which guild you are from.Actions: Lana will make a 32-slot free TS-server and have it running before end of Feb 2014.7) Languages in WvWOn GH they have been working on making a better languages and communication in WvW, and they are asking all guilds to remember how we behave in chat. Don't rage at a commander, give him/her your support, don't start whining in mapchat if something goes wrong, think before you type something negative.

| Hmmm an 18+ rule seems a bit over the top. I admit 12 is rly young and deserves a no but im not 18 and dont think that has causes problems. Maybe sth like 16+? | |

| I agree with Titus. I already play gw2 since I was 16, but I don't have the feeling I was then not mature enough to be in Pain Killer. To be honest I think I could've easily joined before that age too. I can get into it though that you don't want to invite too many ''children'', but a 18+ is not realistic in my opinion. |

| I'm on board with the +18 rule, with no offence to the younger members. In my opinion we've got enough young members to balance the older members. And ofcourse there can always be an exception to the rule, if its needed. | |

| I am totally with Titus. A 18+ rule is over the top. A 16+ rule seems way better, in my opinion people (they are not "kids" anymore) with 16 or more years are mature enaugh - we see that everyday in real life, ingame and the applications we get.
I have a bigger problem with people who saw our posts on the gw2forum or mapchat signing applications. We don't know how they behave ingame. We don't know if all of them are a good addition for the guild. The age doesn't matter at all.
So afterall, I appreciate everyone that's even over the age of 16 - if people from our guild (that are friends with this person irl/ingame) can advocate for it. I don't think that our conversations in the TS or in guildchat would have a bad influence on them. They are in contact with so much other media that contains mature content so that some tiny jokes won't have any impact. So - if the applicants are friends with people in our guild - why don't we say 16+ or even younger. For people that are unknown and don't have someone to vouche for them 18+.
Thank you for your time. | |

| We stick to type the 18+ rule, it have been the standard since the start of pK, but as you know we have a few just below and things are not black and white, but it should attract the more mature players this way. | |

| I just wanted to add that it is more the older guys in this guild who are less mature I don't want to offend anybody, but it is just no matter of age, it is nice to stay young | |

| Yeah, problem with younger ones (mostly 16-) is that they are easily offended. Outside of GW2 (read: other games) I used to be in a guild where (even an entire server) we could have conversations even the older guys would blush about. We could start out with just a regular conversation and before you knew it was just plain nasty (in a good way!). A fox may age, but it doesn't lose it's furs. So the more younger members, the more I gotta watch my tongue lol. But I assure you, I did lose a bit of my furs (as a matter of speaking, I'm not getting bald), and it won't ever be as worse as I can remember from that other game. Even regular jokes might be wrongly interpreted, you know, sarcasm or irony or so. And I hate drama... But I also think they deserve a chance. And if you say 18+, only the ones that believe they are mature enough to be an exception would apply. So that's great, right? |
