Short summary from guild meeting, Tue 25th. June 2013
Thanks to all for joining tonight's guild meeting. Sorry for issues with raidcall so we had to use chat for most of the meeting.

1. Follow up from last guild meeting
Recruiting: We haven't been posting anything about recruiting on the pulic forum, because we things are still not working as we wished for in guild. We need to have the background sorted before we recruit more people so we don't end up as a big mass of people who don't care. Tripz have made some statistics lately, it shows that only very few % of people joining the last month have signed up on the forum.

Point-system: Dana have looked into DKP-system for a fun little point-system we can use for jumping puzzles etc., but this doesn't work with our webpage. Drago will make a spreadsheet for us.
Actions: Drago will make a spreadsheet.

2. tPvP Server
Today with the new patch it should be possible to rent our own pvp server. Sadly TP been down so we haven't been able to check cost. Will add this asap.
We should shall help to pay for this, so it's not on the shoulders on the few.

Akhullad will arrange 1 weekly guild pvp day. He will run pvp as often as he can, but to get more people interested we will make a evening only for this. Will be easier to encourage people to try pvp, (new and old). Akhullad and the rest of us should help announce about the tpvp Event. Akhullad can't be in charge for more than 1 group at the time, so if we get many he will just put an experienced player in each group who can help. Eventually Akhullad will talk on voice about tactics and how to get gear, weapons, traits sorted before start.
Actions: Find out cost for tPvP server.

4. Raidcall
Raidcall has failed. Doesn't work properly anymore and we have decided to get TeamSpeak. I will buy us a server for 50 people, but will be after my payment as I just used all my money on the guneapig vet bill.
Actions: Balli will get a TS server for 50 ppl.

5. Recruiting
Add to current recruit formula about "not to leave guild without fixing things first"

Tripz is our social officer and it's important all leaders and officer report and inform Tripz about changes, new members etc., so it's easier for him to follow up.

Reminder about promoting of new members: Make sure you have talked with people before promoting them. They have been in the guild for some while, been social, we know a bit about them, they are on the forum and on raidcall.

Applications: We have just decided that all new members need to make a short application on our forum. In this way all will have to signup right away, and it make it more interesting for us all to check the forum more often. I want us all to reply and take part in any applications. It's our family, we all have interest in who we get in.

Be more strict! We have been too gentle for too long. Tripz and I are using so much time to repeat these things to people who don't signup or join raidcall etc. If they don't wanna be part of our family, let's help them out again.
Actions: Balli will make application formula and update the current "how to recruit post".

6. Consequences for not joining guild missions
Things are not black and white, but on Sundays, if people are online and don't join because of dungeons, it's not good. Cases with ppl not having time or being afk because of rl is ok, but all who are online we expect to join the mission Sunday. We will whisper all who don't join and if the excuses is negative, we should reconsider to have them in guild.
Actions: Be aware why some people don't join Sundays guild missions when they are online

7. Officer news
Akhullad have recently been promoted to tPvP-Officer. Ryo has stepped down because of less interest in GW2. He might come back someday.
We are looking for a new Pve-Officer. Trebax showed interest to this.
Actions: Find new Pve-Officer.

8. Guild Missions
We decided before each guild mission, the mission leader will use 2 min to explain on voice (shortly) about the mission, so new players know what is going on. And ofc link to dulfy.
Drago reported he in overall are happy for our progress in missions, but he want people to not go afk when he form groups, and not to call for group invite. All just show up groupless at the WP, and wait for the invite and mission. All groupleaders should report to Drago if anything fails or if their boss they searched for not is on the list, so he fast can reorganize them.
Actions: Use 2 min before each guild mission to explain about the mission so new players feel comfortable

as i said in RC but maybe with the lag-issues it didnt come through. This week Friday WvW fits me great so we will do WvW-event. But actually Friday is a bad day for me so it cant become a regulard ay where i lead WVW. Because i live at home and my life is lead by my parents i cant really make an official WvW-day. The day will most likely change every week but ill try to announce this a few days ahead.

ah okay Titus, I heard is as "I can take every Fridays", lol

Maybe you can poke me Sunday when I change the MotD and tell me which day in the upcoming week you think will be a good day? And ofc, if something comes up, you can't do anything against that.

I have added a section on top of the forum with applications

I'm trying to fix a temporary ts server on the server is running in my office , don't know how many ppl can host without couse me lag, so if someone want to help me test it probably could be useble since tomorrow

It seems like I'm completely doomed, all special events (big GM, tPvP, WvW) are all on the days I can't play . Guess I'll just give a shout in guild chat/TS if there is anybody who wants to join me, we got enough people around.

And gratz to the leaders for putting in so much efford into this guild. I know it's a hell lot of work and sometimes it can feel like a second job, but you guys are doing great! I'm so happy I found his guild, finally found myself a gaming-home.

Jackal it's really nice of you to do this, I appreciate it very much. I hope we will get our own TS tomorrow Friday, so I wont post your TS details in guild. It might confuse people, but it is good to know we have a vocie in case we need, until we get our own sorted.

General.
I dance in a showteam, it's every monday, friday, saturday and sunday dancing. But I love it with all my heart. Nothing is more dear to me than that and my dancing partner.
But I'll do whatever I can to support the guild.

Maybe we could try to organize a mission for you at different times, when we have a group online who wanna help. Even with a few we can get your personal reward in bounty and rush. Trek doesn't give personal reward so we can skip this, and challenge is too hard for a few, we need a lot for this.

Don't worry Balli, I'll just shout in Guild Chat for TPvP en WvW. (did some of the latter today with some guildies). No need to break your head further over me
