Like I said, second round will be really hard, but we should first focus on winning our first match.
And then, who knows: It's only one match, everything can happen. Also their setup is pretty new, I talked to Xerrex.
We are new, losing wouldn't be a bad thing, but we have the chance to make a name by winning so I guess we should go for it and shouldn't be like "meh, we will lose".
I remember that day where I lost 450-500 against BooN with only pugs. Let's just do our best.

Raven might go on ranger while titus goes on guard, else that setup you posted.

and Raven, i don't know where you got the idea that bigger names are qualified. The 8 teams that qualify for the ToG finals will be invited for the WTS qualifier(!). Everyone has the same way and some good teams will get lost on the way.

I thought I read somewhere that top teams would be invited to the world series and didn't need to compete in ToG. I think in the official announcement.

And indeed zira, we won't give up on the 2nd round. We gave our best against Car Crash in the past though (got our ass kicked though) BUT we got a better setup now and better players. And we aren't exactly a meta-setup I'd say, so that could be a pro for us.

About the setup, i think that going ranger+bunker guard would leave us short on damage unless raven goes with an offensive build..what's going to be their setup?

Depending on the map and depending on the enemy team comp. But I think we'll be going for the ranger + guard combo. With me going to contest farpoint on certain maps (thinking mainly about foefire and niffhel since that far is reachable in time. Khylo is possible too, but that might be to tricky to try out due to trebuchet which might have to be taken out and spreading us to widely)

First is Foefire. The Ranger/Guard combo did work preeetty well there, to be fair. Raven is kind of our ele. And a BM ranger isn't that short on damage as one might think, especially with cats and birds.

Well raven heals and has sustain and combines condi with direct dmg (or well, nondmging condis and direct dmg) and pumps out some boons.

Which Arena Should I Join?

Listed below are clusters of matches which help you identity which time you should be playing. These clusters are in groups of four. If your match is the first in the group of four, join Arena A. If your match is the second, join Arena B, etc. If you have any questions about this procedure please email us with your questions.

SCHEDULE FOR QUALIFIERS:
As a reminder, teams are ultimately responsible for being in the correct arenas at the correct time until the Ro8 of the qualifiers. If you do not join within 5 minutes after the posted time admins will have full rights to disqualify your team from the event.

In order to identify which game you are in, take a look at the bracket link provided. Once you have found your bracket, keep in mind that the top game in the Ro32 is "Match #1" and the bottom game in the Ro32 is "Match #16." The matches progress from top to bottom in numerical order. The same follows for the Ro16 with the top being "Match #17" and the bottom being "Match #24."

If your team makes it past the round of 16, administrators will give you instructions on how to proceed. From the round of eight onward your team may be shown on the live stream. Streaming of matches is allowed for the Ro32 and 16 but past this is forbidden.
