"Scaring" other members

I have seen that occasionally we "scare" the new recruits away. Take an example of my good friend Fruitsmash. When I invited him, he recieved nicknames, all that. I think it is perhaps better to first give them a better idea of how we are when we are serious (whoever makes a sassy comment on this dies. I don't know when, but everyone has their own time).

But anyways, this is actually a request. I have Fruit coming over today, and I'll try to convince him to rejoin pK. However, I "kindly" request you to not give him any nicknames whatsoever. He has a bad history with them

Noz, I don't think this is us who are the problem. We got over 12 new recruits last couple of days and only 1 or 2 left because of the full rep rule being enforced.

And honestly, don't pick a name like Fruitsmash if you don't like to be nicknamed, that's asking for it in my opinion.

I would call him Fruit which is an abbreviation.
Would he feel insulted by this?

Well, sadly he gave up on pK.

Should we ever meet him, Fruit/Fruitsmash are literally the only good things

in a guild or communitydriven game i think you need a bit thicker skin. You need to be able to take a beating. Ppl still constantly call me Tits Anus so..... xD

Fruit was used as a synonim for homosexuals in the 1950's on USA maybe it was that? ( probably not)

I actually thought about that aswell, but then apparently he was ok with fruit as a name.
