new Guardian WvW builds?

As I heard,
The perfect playstyle of guardians has changed due to all the updates.
I would love to see some good WvW builds here, since most of us
play a guard.

Currently I'm using two builds (here only in really short form):
1) support: Power/Toughn./Healing gear +  shouts.
2) zerg tank: Toughn./Power/Precision  -  crit=>might for allies=>giving boons heals you

there are things i like. GS Always solid choice, nice utilities, great surv.

THing i dont like: i not a fan of staff when roaming. It has the empower but thats just not worth it imo, sword+focus or sword+torch is so much better imo. Because that help your 2nd problem: Lack of mobility. At least with sword you have 2 gap closers. Now the mobiliy is too little. Last point: i think you might lack some dmg

I picked staff over sword for the range. But I'll swap them.
how would I miss damage? I got good power and nice crit stats (I think at least)

Little bit more damage. (keeping in mind I need a lot of condi removal for my party members, I couldn't go into the first 2 lines)

Hows the dmg on that Kain?

Pretty good with sharpening stones and guard stacks, especially when you switch to hammer and get that skill 2 crit that can hit 3-4k. The runes and added toughness (which gives precision) give you a decent amount of damage. Build not the best solo roaming and 1v1 but great in small groups.

Little rework. It worked kinda in pvp with celestial gear. Though I am not sure yet.

2 things, might be little low on dmg+sentinel gear is madness expensive. I would laybe go scholar runes or so to pack some more,punch

I can't get more damage without going full zerker, and full zerker is only 200 power more, the rest is outclasses by this combo.

Bttw, id go for the meditations grant fury trait. 3 items of sent gear is like 80g mate....

Condi Cleanses, high toughness and survival. Damage is decent (tested in PvP without any precision besides fury)

What does the WvW-guardian-community think about this?

not bad but id go judges intervention for 3rd medi instead of a consecration skill and im pretty sure the build will be low on dmg

It should be decent with heavy armor and 30 in 2 def lines. I sometimes use knights armor, cele trinkets and zerk weaps. Thats fairly decent, not optimal but decent

I'll try it out in PvP tonight (if I make it). It looks pretty strong indeed.
