My road to legendary

So , basically my road towards a legendary is one little step shorter now because of the mystic forge. This yieled Dawn.

However , ever since I first saw the legendary weapons I wanted to go for Twilight. This leaves me with a little problem.

Should I go on and make sunrise or should I try to get Dusk first?

I would say, trade your dawn for a dusk. But that ain't practical in gw2.
Imo, if you go for a legendary it should be the one you like, not just some legendary.
Maybe you get lucky and can sell dawn expensive and buy a cheaper dusk? Don't know their going prices.

dawn is ALOT cheaper than dusk. A trade is difficult.

If you got Dawn, I suggest you either go for sunrise, or do some kind of farming tactic and make an approx 250g. So that you can buy Dusk after selling dawn

Still feelin puzzled. For the time bein i'll farm more rare and exo greatswords to see if I can get the Dusk.

Well , finally got closer to Twilight. Somehow Guild wars thought I really wanted the dawn and gave me a second one. so I sold bolth and got the dusk.

Currently I onw Dusk , 100 icy runestone's , gift of Ascalon , gist of mastery , 77 mystic clovers 100 onyx lodestones 248 ecto's and the recepi for gist of darkness and gist of metal.

Mostly all I need now is T6 materials and orichalcum ore and ecto's. So basically just farm orr for the T6 and ori?

farming gold eh? still have 121 gold in the bank left to use. Though I didn't know there was a gw2 page for nodes. So thanks a lot people

I counted 550g for ALL T6 mats. So 250 of each.
Ori I counted 30g for.

But that was a couple weeks ago when I made calculations for my legendary, prices may have changed.
Apparently 20g shouldn't be to hard to make a day (although personally I find that very hard to achieve)

I have around 100 off the T6 materials , but if anything i'll use up laurels to get T6material bags from the laural vendors. for the rest either I buy ori ore and rfine it myself of go on daily mine trips. I have the paltinum ingots and mithil ful all I need for that is darksteel and ori , but hey minuing trips. I'm a bit more concerned about the cured hardend leather squares , seeing as how i'm not a leatherworker.

I'll be leveling my leatherworker next play sessions, and I'm sure there are people in the guild willing to refine your leather for you.

Got the leather sorted out , now off to do mining tripz and gather more T6 materials

Basically after looking it up on the wiki all I need are the gifts themself to get twilight. Gift of magic , gift of might , gift of darkness and gift of metal. All of those consist of either T6 materials or orichalcum and darksteel ingots. all other materials for the gifts I have in my possesion.

Makes me wonder though , how far am I with my legenfary , percentage wise?

If the T6 is all you need, you're really close.
You just gotta craft the gifts (MF usage) and then put all the gifts in together.
I'd say about 80% of the work done? (seeing you just need to farm gold/t6 now, which shouldn't be to hard if you really want it)

wanting is a big word , for me it's more like doing the effort to get the T6 and ori/platinum instead of buying them of the TP. That gives me more satifaction. but thanks for the info.
