Getting towards Legendary

Hey pKerz!
I just got my 2 Gifts of Exploration!!
So far, I think I only need a Precursor, 240 more Exos and shitloads of T6 Mats for my Legendary.
What experiences have you made on the way of getting these materials?
What tips can you give me?

I still can't figure out which Legendary I would like to craft.
What are the Legendaries you can recommend because of there awesomeness or their low material-price?

I think I will end up with all my money spent just before the Precursor. If you know anything about the Precursor-Crafting that's coming up, let me pls know.

When it gets into the critical last stage I would really apreciate every kind of support

Ive been on this legendary journey for about a month now, and it has rapidly slowed down due to precursor, the charged lodestones and getting clovers

Clovers are the devil because they are random so try your best to farm as much karma as you can and use it all on shards.

Remember to salvage everything you get, the amount of mats you get in return are amazing and very useful.

I recommend going for whatever YOU like. there is no point working towards a legendary that hasnt caught your interest in the start

I love my Sunrise but Dante is right, go for whatever Legendary you want. They are all very expensive, so dont let 200-300g make the difference in getting a Legendary you dont like and a Legendary you love. I could have gone for a cheap Minstrel but why would i? Back then it was a horrible Legendary and if you are alrdy spending 1200g, 1500g doesnt make the difference.

Big tip: Go in babysteps. Raising 1500g looks impossible, but getting 100g for your runestones isnt too bad. So take it in small steps, HOWEVER i was very happy that i got Precursor first.

So another big tip imo: Get precursor first. I know this is the hardest part to get but the relief of having it is enormous. It also gave me a massive boost towards getting it because there was no way back and all the other things seamed simple compared to precursor.

I would love to give you farming tips but my way isnt available anymore, i made a Mesmer and lvled him up for about 20g and then i just farmed CoF like crazy. My tip would be do a lot of dungeons. They give good money these days and the tokens can be traded for rares which can be turned into easy globs.

try and do as many of these as you can!

Also Arah P3 is fast and pretty easy money if you have a good group.
TA Up/Up is cake too

What I have so far:
-Gift of Mastery (Gift of Exploration+250 Obsidian Shards+ Bloodstone Shard + Gift Of Battle)
-77 Clovers
-50-100 pieces of the various T6 mats.

What I need:
- 250 Globs of Ectoplasm
- Gift of Magic (250 Vials + 250 Venom Sacs + 250 Totems + 250 Crystalline Dust)
- Gift of Might (250 Fangs + 250 Scales + 250 Claws + 250 Bones)
- 100 Icy Runestones (1g each)
- Precursor
- Gift of the specific Legendary

I didn't make it soulbound so far.

My concern:
When I equip it with my Warr, there is only one way to play it. Zerk.
So I have the concern that I get bored of zerk war and want more versatile builds, then my GS is useless.
So a more versatile weapon [for example Dagger for thief (Condi & DPS)] could maybe be more fun. That are my thoughts.

I heard of ppl selling their first Legendary. Maybe I should do it too? Then I could easily buy another at the TP in exchange.

What do you think about all this?

Legendaries have now mixed stats, you chose them wen equiping.

That's not the point chlap, when a warrior uses a GS, there is only one way for him to go: DPS.j
No conditions, no cc, nothing but raw damage and dps.
