| I'm not 100% sure it is my graphic-card there is making issues on my other PC, but I guess from my problems that is it.
If I should pick a cheap graphic-card just a bit better than the old one I had, what can you recommend?
PC details: MB1366 Gigabyte GA-XA58A-UD3R Intel Core i7-950 4x3,06GHz LGA1366 4,8G 3 x DDR-1333 Kingston 2GB HDS 1000GB Seagate SATAII 7200rpm HDD Nvidia GF GTX 470 1280MB DDR5 Windows 7 I was thinking to get one below 150 euros. It might be possible for me within a month.
I have downloaded gw2 to my old old pc and I have been online the past days just for chatting as I can't play, but sometimes it's impossible to log in, I just keep crash and get failrapports, so I don't know how much I will be online until my other pc is fixed. I think it's my Windwos Vista that is making the issues as I have to keep restart the entire pc to run the game. | |

| I contacted the place from where the PC was bought and they told me to buy a GTX760 graphiccard. It's just a bit too expensive I think, but maybe that's what I should wait for? | |

| A month ago they told me about 200 euro for that card. I haven't checked if the price is lower now. | |

| does the 760 consume much more power than the 470? that is something to consider that your current power supply unit can handle. | |

| I took time to look on nVidia website. The info isn't presented the same for both cards, but given their wording, so, yeah I think that's enough GTX470: Minimum System Power Requirement 550W GTX760: Minimum Recommended Power System 500W | |

| I might be able to buy the new graphic card Tuesday or Wednesday. I have looked at this one here: MSI GeForce GTX 660 grafikkortPrice: 188 euro Does that look like a okay card and you think it will fit with my pc? Also, I have looked at this: Toshiba Q-serie 128 GB Solid State Drive (SSD)Price: 120 euro Would that improve anything, or is it something else people are talking about when they talk about a stick they use in the computer for better performance, speed etc.? | |

| SSD-drives are faster then HDD-drives. Raptor HDD-drives are also faster then HDD-drives SSD-drives are faster then Raptor HDD-drives.
You notice it mostly if you put your windows on the SSD together with the other 'necessary' programs. |

| The GeForce GTX 660 is a good choice but Msi is a bad one I recommend u to buy if is possible a Gigabyte or an Asus, and for SSD i say the best ratio C/P is Intel (120 to 240 Gb). I wish u best luck with this Balli P.S. u need to see what power supply u have and if's to small (400,450,500 W is to small) u need to upgrade |

| "Yes, SSDs have a limited amount of time they can be written to. But if you're buying a SSD in 2012 that's not something you should worry about. Your SSD will most likely die for other reasons long before you run out of Write cycles." So please scratch that write rule from myour mind and make use of your SSD as you should for the money you spend on it | |
