| I will be doing the planned event tonight for the new WvW-map, but for the next period of time I will take a break from any guild-commitments.
I think I'm just a bit frustrated atm. For a long time we hardly have been able to finish our guildmissions because of lack of people, very few who attended our guild meetings, and few who attend other planned events. Some people complain about having too little people in guild for activities, other complains about growing too fast, and others never socialize or even care to say a hello in guild.
So if you don't see me for guildmissions and other events, it's because of this.
I'm not leaving pK, but I need a break. We have other guildleaders and Officers and they will keep doing their planned events. I wont blame them if they stop arrange guildmissions for a while, it might be healthy for the guild after all.

| Hi Balli
i dont blame you feeling like this - and i'am sure you noticed from me too at the last meeting you,me and Dana had, that what you posted here is the same i feel, very frustrated.
But, that's why we have 4 leaders, iam sure me and Dana and Twapper will go on with things, so you don't have to worry, take the time you need.
From my side, i'am gona do my best to stay positive and see if i can make something happen that can change the way the guild is at the moment, alot of our officers is not online anymore for long time now, and that leaves a gap regarding getting ppl to do things in the guild

| Understandable Balli, everyone need some time off “work” to recharge batteries., so enjoy your time off. PS:: We will try not to dirty the guild hall too much while you are "away". | |

| I think it's a good decision. GW is here to have fun and when you don't have fun (feel frustrated) it's better to have a little break than to go on and till you don't wanna play at all anymore. | |

| I know I might not have much right of saying this since my sunday afternoons/evenings are off-limits and I don't do much aside from PvP, but I thought people had to agree to join events when they joined the guild. Everybody who joined agreed. Of course you can't join every single event (you won't see me much outside of PvP tbh, unless there is a really fun event guildwide), but things are indeed going downward. I know I'm just a member of the guild, but together with others (like Dj and Kas to sum up a couple) I try to give people a nice pvp experience. But when you post about an event, people might say 'ye that's great I'll be there' but in the end no-body shows up. Not that I have a real problem with that, I'm happy if I can get 1 or 2 guildies with me so I have somebody to play together with in pugs. But what happened to JP contest? Hide and seek? Oh well, maybe people don't want to do events and just farm their ass off getting the stuff they want to have, be it legendary or ascended armour. Maybe it's time for a big guild-cleanup and not just an inactivity cleanup? There are people I never of my life heard in guild chat, different timezones is possible, but when even balli hasn't heard them (who has way more online time than me) that means something I guess? It's not to hard to say 'hi' when you log in and 'bye' when you go off... Anyway, have fun balli, dana and twapper will keep slacking and tripz will be burried under the workload, but just like the world, the guild will keep spinning. I hope. |

| To be honest, I think it's the nature of the beast. ANET have done a great job with the game, but there really isn't much to aim for once you hit 80 and it doesn't inspire people to play as much.
I did think that once I was there it would then be a cool ride to achievements, great new armour and weapons, crafting great stuff etc etc. But, in reality, it's not like that. Looking at gear and weapons, ascended items cost a lot of cash and time to get the amazing amount of mats, but are they worth all the effort and cost? Compare ascended to exotic and all you gain is a few points here and there. Is it really enough to bother?
On to guild missions. A damn good idea, but it's the same old stuff week in, week out. There is scope for so much more. They could have made guild dungeon runs, guild boss killings and much more, but all we seem to get is the same puzzles and tracking down a load of special mobs. The guild missions as they stand don't exactly make you want to keep coming back when you have done them over and over and over again.
I find myself not really rushing to play like I used to because my sole purpose at the moment is just map completion, which I am doing slowly but surely. Because I work, my time is mainly restricted to evenings and personal family stuff is currently eating away at my Sunday play time so I unfortunately miss a lot of GM's and meetings.
There is a lot in the game I don't do. The mystic forge is just that, mystic. I have no idea how to use it effectively and I have all exotic gear so do I really need to bother with it anyway? Fractals take an age to complete and it's hard to find the time to do them with guildies, not sure I would want to do it with pugs because I know nothing about them and Balli explains and looks after me when we go in. Other dungeons don't hold any pull either because the rewards are, well, useless. You get tokens that can be used for exotic gear ... which I already got for a little gold and karma.
Achievements are fun, but again, not much to get excited about in the rewards department. A title here and there and more stuff to, well, salvage.
PvP is, to me, a total waste of time and offers little to the real game world in terms of reward so I don't bother with it.
WvW is about the most fun at the moment, but again, not much to play for except server bragging rights.
Living world stuff is nice in that it changes every 2 weeks but even that gets stale quickly. I have not even come close to the Marionette victory and now every one I go to they seem to just want to zerg lane 1 so we get a chest at least with everyone resigned to the fact that we won't win.
ANET needs to address the end game stuff and guild stuff to keep players interested and coming back for more. It's nice to add new higher gear, but at least make it worth the effort. Perhaps a little more concentration in this area and not so much in the Living World would benefit the game in the long run.
And that's my little rant over. Hehe. Sorry it's so long and I am sorry Balli feels the way she does. She has done so much for the guild.

| I think you explained a lot of what many people feels ingame Zxion, that's why I believe we need to be sure to have some good social events, in where we can be together and have fun. And thank you for this long text <3 Maybe it's time for us to find some other hours for our events? | |

| Zxion, can you please mail something like that to anet? Tell to to rework endgame, and introduce a new skillcap, and a better 'epic' armor tier and guild raids and such, and mounts, and new maps, and maybe L120? Why not an entire expansion? That would defo bring the fun back in the game.
And make the mounts trainable, with skills of their own, with mounted combat, and flying mounts and customization! |

| The thing I miss the most are raid-instances. A place where you can meet up with friends a few times a week to archive something big together, a fun moment. | |

| Yeah, me too balli. Dungeons are ok, but it's just 5 people killing an easy boss (tbh, they are easy if everybody knows what he's doing). Where are the massive 50 player bosses? I do also miss something like 'pet/mount evolution'. Give us a mount or a utility pet (like looting/mining/...) which we can upgrade, get gear for, train, get stuff for, ... Ps balli: maybe you need to pvp more |
