Two thousand thirteen, now a year long gone,
It gave us some smiles, it gave us some tears,
Like with any it had its pro and con,
Perhaps it was like all those other years
Mistakes were made and the lesson was learned,
Things have gone as we dreamt, and some gone wrong,
Memories we keep will never get burned,
Life cannot be like the movie or song,
Some will treasure you, some curse you to hell,
We will remember you, all coming days,
But now a new year, let it all go well,
Oh two thousand fourteen, you I do praise,
If you don’t understand, I’ll make it clear,
I wish you a pleasant, happy new year.
