Guild Wars 1 issues

I bought Guildwars 1 yesterday (2 different downloads, so i should get most of the important stuff).
However, after downloading the gameclient and create user/type access key, it wouldn't let me finish the registration. It kept saying password was wrong, even tho it was a new account (and both passwords was identical).
Today I tried to create with a different e-mail and that was the issue apparently and not the password (just didn't said), and I could finally use the key. It told me I had successfully created a user and should receive an e-mail to verify... but the verify link lead to a page that has "vanished in the mist and no longer exists".
Very confusing and they haven't responded back to me yet.

A friend of mine had that issue with GW1, too. Hasn't been solved yet

Seems very unprofessional. If they still don't respond to me today, I will ask them to refund the 50 euros right away.

Damn, it still costs 50 euros?! That's more than gw2 atm!

I bought several different games, so it went up to around 50 euro's, but I'm sure I could just have spent 25 or 30.

Balli xD gw1 and gw2 accounts is linked, you use the same login, you have to logon to the website, and link the accounts

But I cant even make the GW1 account so I cant link it. The verify page after creating doesnt exist. Anyway I have sent them a mail and asked them to return my money asap. Just wanted it now as I had some time before holiday was over.

That is very strange, what trip said i knew that before i bought gw1 about the account linking. But the verify page not loading/exist is something else. But im not sure if you need to verify first to be able to log in. Have you already tried to log in.

Just to be sure, you can't log in now and can't link gw1 and gw2 accounts round now even before the verify?

No, because I never finished creating my gw1 account. After using key and putting all my data in, I got a message about I almost were done creating, and just needed to check my mail and verify (something like that), and that link in the mail go to a vanished site.

And still no response, it's such bad customer support. I have sent them 7 mails now, and last 2 to return my money and cancel my product.
